NOW OPEN! Museum of Illusions Austin

Some friends and I attended the 12:20 slot for our friend’s birthday and there was 2 minute wait once we checked in. No food or drinks allowed of course. The museum is small but does offer a variety of fun and interactive optical illusions. They also have a vortex tunnel which was so much fun (got to go
in for a second time) and lots of photo opportunities. It was a great experience! is great for families and people of all ages, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The museum is clean and well-maintained.

My friend and I had such a blast. We’re both 64 years old and the young staff were encouraging and helpful as we posed ourselves for all the photo opps. We had a blast!.

This is a great family friendly spot where you will be very surprised at the interesting illusions. Gigi made suggestions, answered questions, and helped us take pictures to get the full experience. Don’t be afraid to have staff help you take pictures! Great time!
